Police Video: SWDD Multiple Gunpoint Robberies

On December 15, 2011, between 2:00am and 5:15am there were five gunpoint robberies committed in various locations in Southwest Division and Darby, Pa. All of these robberies have been committed by the same three suspects and one of the suspects appears in all surveillance videos. On December 15, 2011, at 2:28am, an unknown male approached the drive-thru window on foot of the McDonald’s fast food restaurant located at 5945 Woodland Avenue and pointed a black handgun at the employee demanding money. The employee gave the offender $58 in cash and the suspect fled on foot South on 60th from Woodland. Suspect description: Black Male, 5’11”– 6′, thin build, medium brown complexion, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with orange letters, and a black ski mask. DC# 11-12-097644 Detective DeRose #679 On December 15, 2011, at 3:35am, an unknown male approached the drive-thru window on foot of the McDonald’s fast food restaurant located at 5601 Vine Street and pointed a black handgun at the employee demanding money. The employee ran from the drive-thru window and the suspect fled in an unknown direction without taking any money. Suspect description: Black male, 5’11, thin build, dark complexion, scruffy hair wearing a white long sleeve shirt and a black knit hat with two white stripes around it If you see this male do not approach him, contact 911 immediately. The first suspect approached the employee with a handgun demanding money from the cash register. The suspects took $130 in cash from the cash registers and 100 packs of cigarettes. The suspects fled on foot West though the parking lot towards 64th St on Lebanon and North on 64th Street. Suspect description: Suspect #1 Black male, 6’2”, 240 lbs, Blue hoody with white draw strings, black pants, black “ski” mask armed with a handgun. Suspect #2 Black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5’10”, 185 lbs, gray hoody with “Texas” across chest in orange letters, gray pants. If you see these males do not approach them, contact 911 immediately. DC# 11-19-109859 Detective Brady #676 On December 15, 2011 at 5:12am, two unknown males entered the 7-11 located at 1337 South 58th Street armed with handguns demanding money. The suspects forced the employees to open the registers and took $200 in cash and numerous packs of cigarettes and Lottery scratch off tickets. The employees believe the males got into an unknown vehicle that was parked across the street and fled. Suspect description: Suspect #1Black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5’9″-5’10”, thin build, light complexion, wearing a gray hoody with “TEXAS” in red on the front and light colored pants armed with a handgun. Suspect #2 Black male, 20-25 years-of-age, 5’10”-5’11”, medium to heavy build, dark complexion, wearing a blue hoody, black ski mask covering his face, black gloves and armed with a handgun.
