Police Video: Robbery 7440 Haverford Avenue

On September 4th, 2012 at 5:45 pm, two black males entered the Haverford Freedom Service Station located at 7440 Haverford Avenue. Once inside the first male produced a silver revolver handgun demanding money. Approximately $150 was handed over to the offender who then demanded “all the money”. The male then struck the employee, with the handgun, on the left side of the employee’s face causing him to suffer a minor cut near his left eye. The offender again demanded money, threatened to kill the complainant, and began counting down. The employee picked up a metal chair and charged the offender, who then fled the property on foot, down an alleyway at the rear of 7440 Haverford Ave. Suspect Description: Suspect #1: Black male, 20-23 years of age, 6’0″, thin build, wearing a black jacket with a hood, armed with a silver revolver. Suspect #2: Black male, 20-23 years of age, 5’8″, stocky build, light complexion, wearing a light colored jacket with a hood. If you see these suspects do not approach them, contact 911 immediately.
