Skateboarder Stabs Man, Throws Bike: Police

Police in Pittsburgh are looking for a knife-wielding skateboarder who stabbed a man in the forearm and threw his bicycle into the Monongahela River.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported that police were called to the Smithfield Street Bridge at about 9:40 p.m. Friday.

They say the stabbing occurred after the man refused to budge from the path of the stabbing victim, then chased the women he was with.

The suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, with blond hair. He was riding a black skateboard and was last seen heading toward the Boulevard of the Allies.

The stabbing victim was listed in good condition at a local hospital.
