Derrick Pitts’ curiosity for science began as a kid in the Nicetown-Tioga section of Philadelphia with dreams of being an astronaut. While he hasn’t been to space, Pitts is the Chief Astronomer and Planetarium Director at the Franklin Institute where he shares his enthusiasm and love for science and astronomy.
