Philadelphia to Pay Lifeguards More as They Try to Staff Up for Summer

With summer just around the corner, the City of Philadelphia needs to hire 170 new lifeguards between the ages of 16-24 years old for the public pools. If hired, the pay will go up starting to July 1 from $15.24 an hour to $16.00 an hour.
