Wednesday will bring us to the highest temperatures we’ve seen in 2014. You can also expect some afternoon storms. NBC10 meteorologist Tedd Florendo has the details, as well as your 7-day forecast.

The School District of Philadelphia announced its schools are dismissing early due to heat and all after-school activities are cancelled, according to the district's website.

All public schools students will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.

Schools with graduation ceremonies may elect to remain open. Parents may contact schools directly with graduation ceremonies to confirm the school's schedule.
