Man Struck, Killed by SEPTA Train

It happened Tuesday morning in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia

Police are investigating an accident in which a middle-aged man was struck by a SEPTA regional rail train.

It happened Tuesday morning near the 49th Street Station in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia.

The man was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.

Service on SEPTA's Media/Elwyn Regional Rail line was suspended in both directions, but has resumed as of 9:45 a.m.
