Penn Medicine Doctor granted $100,000 for cancer research

Dr. Kara Bernstein, Professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Perelman School of Medicine received a check for $100,000 from the Pa. Breast Cancer Coalition due to her research on triple negative breast cancer. Dr. Bernstein says the grant money will go towards research to help develop therapies for women fighting the disease.
