Parents React to Shooting at West Philly Playground

Police presence around West Fairmount Park will increase in an effort to tackle youth violence, but local parents said they won’t feel safer with police cars parked around the playground. The Mayor’s Office said families should be celebrating and relaxing during the summer months, rather than worrying about gun violence.
