New Jersey Officer Takes Time to Fix Young Boy's Bike

Reserve Cpl. Ken Kramer of the Burlington Police Department got down on his hands and knees to fix a kid’s bike after the boy’s brakes came loose.

Some may call this the photo of the day.

Burlington officer Ken Kramer was out patrolling when he came across a young boy with a loose brake on his bicycle.

After talking to the boy, Kramer pulled out a small screwdriver and fixed the bicycle for him.

"Not only is he a good officer, he can fix a young man's bicycle with a small screwdriver! Come enjoy the day and talk to our officers walking the beat," a caption on the police department's Facebook post about the officer helping the boy read. The photo has circulated and Kramer has become a local celebrity.

The boy thanked Kramer before riding off.
