Not Guilty Verdict in Rittenhouse Square Stabbing

Michael White was found not guilty of manslaughter in connection to the stabbing death of 22-year-old Sean Schellenger in Rittenhouse Square last year. The jury determined White was acting in self-defense and did not intend to kill Schellenger during their confrontation. Schellenger’s mother reacted in anger after the verdict and had harsh words for Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner.
