Northbound I-95 in Wilmington to be Closed Thursday, Weekend

Overnight road work will close parts of Interstate 95 in Delaware over the next few days.

Northbound lanes on Interstate 95 will close overnight Thursday and again on the weekend as crews to mill and repave the highway.

Officials with the Delaware Department of Transportation say I-95 at Concord Pike will close from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. There will be right-lane closure from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday.

Northbound I-95 will be closed again starting at 10 p.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Sunday, and Sunday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday.

Northbound traffic will be detoured to U.S. 202. Access to the highway will resume at Naamans Road in Claymont.
