New lanes opening in next phase of I-95 reconstruction

As the reconstruction efforts for I-95 in Philly have been underway, a new part of the roadway is now opening. Drivers will soon be driving on the newly constructed lanes that are part of the permanent fix to the bridge collapse. This phase will open up more lanes but reduce speed limits on the overpass portion near Cottman Avenue. NBC10’s Deanna Durante explains how this will impact commuters.
