Immigration Reform Should Be Done One Step at a Time, Advocate Says

Over the years, both Democrats and Republicans have talked about comprehensive immigration reform but have often failed to find consensus. Laz Ayala, who immigrated while fleeing violence from El Salvador, says reform may be had one piece of legislation at a time, starting with how foreign laborers are let into the country.
