Can Changing Election Day Increase Voter Turnout?

A new LX/Morning Consult poll shows that young people and people of color say they are more likely to vote if Election Day were held on a weekend rather than a Tuesday. But many older white voters say changing the day would not impact their likelihood of turning out. LX’s Noah Pransky examines the reasons for the discrepancies.
