Mom Claims Son Was Raped in NJ Hospital

A mother is speaking out because she says her son was raped at Kennedy memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill, N.J. NBC10’s Harry Hairston reports.Statement from Jonathan McCarthy, MSN, RN, Vice President of Clinical Services at Kennedy University Hospital in Cherry Hill, NJ: “Kennedy University Hospital considers the safety and well-being of our patients its top priority. Any reported incidents of alleged inappropriate conduct anywhere within the Kennedy Health System were and are immediately reported to the proper authorities, and investigated internally. In 2004 when we learned of the allegation, our staff immediately contacted the appropriate authorities and we cooperated with the police and county prosecutor’s office during their investigation. Kennedy has stringent protocols in place to ensure patient safety at all of its hospitals. Because of patient privacy laws and our legal obligations, we are not able to provide details about this matter”
