Mobile Home Fire Causes $10k In Damage

A fire at a mobile home in New Castle County is being blamed on a child playing with a lighter.

The State Fire Marshal's Office says officials were called to a mobile home in the 300 block of Widel Avenue in Minquadale shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday. Officials determined the fire was accidental and damage was estimated at $10,000.

Officials say a 39-year-old woman and two children ages four and three were treated for smoke inhalation as a result of the fire.
