American Flag, Priceless Artifacts Emerge After Memorial Day Fire

A Memorial Day tragedy has now turned into a miracle after an American Legion Post went up in flames Monday. Priceless artifacts were rescued during the fire in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood. Members of the American Legion Post told NBC10 an electrical fire started in a dumbwaiter and then spread to the entire building, destroying 98 years of history. On Wednesday however, they learned that not all was lost. NBC10’s Keith Jones has the details.
