Massive Funeral Planned for Paramedic Who Was Killed While Responding to Accident

A massive funeral is set for a paramedic killed when she was hit by a coal truck while responding to two other crashes on an icy Pennsylvania road.

The funeral for 38-year-old Janice Livingston will be held in the Cambria County War Memorial, a 4,000-seat hockey arena in Johnstown, about 60 miles east of Pittsburgh.

The venue was chosen to accommodate first responders from across Pennsylvania and other states who were expected to attend the Friday morning service.

Livingston was killed late Monday morning on Route 271 in Upper Yoder Township.

Livingston was at the scene after two earlier crashes when the coal truck came around a curve on an icy road and couldn't stop at the scene of the earlier crashes. The truck hit Livingston and pinned her against a tree.
