Man Sought in Armed Robbery in Doylestown

Suspect escaped on foot, then car

Doylestown Township police are searching a man involved in an armed robbery at a shopping center Sunday.

It happened around 4:05 p.m. at the Game Stop store in the Doylestown Pointe shopping center at 1661 Easton Road.

Police say the suspect pulled out a silver-colored revolver with light-colored grips which was described as “old-looking”, and demanded money from the employees.

The suspect escaped on foot with an undetermined amount of money, and was last seen heading towards the Warrington Country Club, which is to the east along Almshouse Road.

He was described as a white male in his early- to mid-twenties, about six feet tall and 180 to 200 pounds. He had a “chin strap” beard (no mustache), and was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball cap, sunglasses, a tan or light brown plaid long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, khaki pants, and white shoes or sneakers.

A canine officer from Warminster Township Police and his dog attempted to track the suspect but did not locate him.
