Shots fired in Philadelphia’s Parkside neighborhood killed a man near the intersection of West Girard and North 38th Street and police continue to search for the killer.
A gunman shot a man multiple times -- killing him just a few blocks from the Philadelphia Zoo early Sunday morning.
The victim was hit by gunfire near the intersection of West Girard Avenue and North 38th Street in the city's Parkside neighborhood around 1 a.m., according to authorities.
Police rushed the wounded man to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are investigating the homicide and anyone with information on the crime is urged to contact police.
