Crash With Ambulance Leaves Car Badly Damaged

UPDATE: The driver later died and police revealed the car was stolen.


An ambulance and car crashed along a busy South Jersey road Monday morning leaving the car badly damaged and its driver in very critical condition.

The wreck closed the S White Horse Pike (U.S. Route 30) at Evesham Avenue East in Magnolia, Camden County around 5:30 a.m.

Crews cut the roof off the sedan to extract the driver. Medics rushed the driver to the hospital in very critical condition.

No word on when the roadway will reopen but crews were able to tow the damaged car away.
