Chairman Offers Lifeline for Sears, Kmart

Employees of a K-Mart store near Pittsburgh, Pa., bid emotional goodbyes over the weekend just before the store shut its doors for good. Sears, which also owns Kmart, has a few more days to consider its options in hopes to keeping the business alive. Chairman Eddie Lampert is making a $5 billion bid to save thousands of jobs.
