Larry Mendte Arrives for Trial in Alycia Lane Civil Suit

Former CBS3 anchor Larry Mendte arrives at Philadelphia Common Pleas court on the day jury selection was supposed to start in the civil suit against Mendte by former co-anchor Alycia Lane. Lane is suing Mendte and CBS, the company they both worked for. Mendte pleaded guilty to federal charges and admitted he illegally hacked into Lane’s email accounts and leaked private information about her to gossip columnists. The trial was put on hold so the Pa. Supreme Court could hear an appeal by CBS to have the case moved to New York.
