Police Name Shoplifting Suspects Who Hit Babies' Stroller

Police in a Pittsburgh suburb are trying to find two women caught on camera stealing from a Kohl’s Monday. As they were trying to get away they hit a security guard and baby stroller with their getaway car.

Police in a Pittsburgh suburb charged a woman and a juvenile suspected of shoplifting clothes from a department store before bumping into a security guard and a baby stroller with their car.

Ross Township police have an arrest warrant for 24-year-old Ann Brie Kelly, of Pittsburgh, on charges including retail theft and reckless endangerment. The juvenile's name isn't being released because of her age.

Police say Kelly endangered the guard, two children in the stroller, and their mother when Kelly backed up her car Monday evening before speeding away from a Kohl's department store.

The guard saw the women stealing clothes around 5:20 p.m. and followed them to their vehicle to confront them.

The guard stood behind their car, but they backed up anyway, hitting the guard and the stroller.

Melissa Cypher says her 2-month-old and 3-year-old were in the stroller, but were not hurt.

Cypher says, "I couldn't' believe that she actually did make contact with the stroller and didn't stop.''

Kelly is charged with four counts of reckless endangerment, retail theft, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, but has not yet been arrested.
