Spike in Juvenile Crime During Summer

In July, a 12-year-old girl was raped by a group of teenage boys at the neighborhood rec center. Then this month, an armed 13-year-old boy was arrested, police say, for holding up at least 5 people in 24 hours. Police say this kid crime is not a trend. Instead, it’s something they see every summer when kids are out of school.
