Judge Rules Officer Should Be Paid for Suspension

A judge has ruled that Washington Township officer, Joseph DiBuonaventura will be paid for part of the time he was suspended. DiBuonaventura had been accused of making a bogus drunk driving arrest of Assemblyman Paul Moriarty and was subsequently suspended but he was acquitted of those charges. The judge has not yet ruled on whether DBuonaventura will be compensated for the years he missed awaiting trial.
