Residents in this Montco township willing to pay higher taxes to keep police department staffed

The future of the Jenkintown Police Department is in the balance, but residents say they won’t let officers go without a fight. The first of two public meetings was held on Wednesday — standing-room only — to discuss the future of the Montgomery County police department. The borough wants to avoid a tax increase in order to pay its 10 full time officers. NBC10’s Aaron Baskerville highlights the discussion.
