Smoke Alarms Credited for Saving Women Before Fire Engulfs Wilmington Home

Two women were injured in a house fire on Summit Avenue in Wilmington early Thursday. A 63-year-old woman was burned badly, and the other woman suffered minor injuries, fire investigators said. The fire marshal credits smoke detectors for saving their lives.
