House Fire Forces 7 into Bitter Cold

The blaze broke out on Berkley Street in Germantown. No one was hurt.

Crews battled a house fire in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood for nearly 45 minutes before getting the blaze under control.

Firefighters responded to the 300 block of Berkley Street around 12:45 a.m. Sunday, according to officials.

Officials with the American Red Cross said they are assisting the family of 7, who were displaced by the blaze.

No one was hurt.
