Crews Spend Hours Cleaning Up After Car Slams Into Utility Pole Along Montgomery County Road

Blair Mill Road in Horsham, Pennsylvania was closed Friday morning as crews worked to fix a utility pole.

A driver struck a utility pole causing traffic troubles along a Montgomery County road for hours  Friday morning.

The closure crept into the morning rush after a the driver's car slammed into a pole along Blair Mill Road between Welsh and Witmer roads around 2 a.m., said county dispatchers.

The wreck left one person hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, said dispatchers.

Utility trucks could be seen using a crane around 6:30 a.m. as the roadway remained partially closed with only one lane squeezing by in each direction.

After hours of repairs, the roadway reopened sometime before 10 a.m.
