Holiday Travel Chaos

Weather could make holiday travel more painful

The holidays are already a busy time for traveling and it isn’t unusual to experience a flight or train delay, but with all this rain what should travelers expect?

It’s just a couple of days before Thanksgiving and the roads are already starting to fill with drivers heading home for the holiday.

Whether you’re driving or flying, the weather isn’t going to make the holiday rush any easier.  A storm is expected to dump heavy rain in parts of the region on Wednesday. Add that to the 100,000 passengers expected to fly out of the Philadelphia International airport and you’re talking about big delays.

To add to the headache, the AAA Auto Club Group expects 42.5 million people to hit the road nationwide. That’s a 4% increase, since 2010.
