Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey has a new addition: a baby giraffe! Mika is a female reticulated giraffe who was walking within one hour of being born.
There's a new addition to the safari at New Jersey's Six Flags Great Adventure theme park.
A female reticulated giraffe was born at the park on Oct. 11.
The park says Mika stood within an hour of her birth and measured 5-feet, 10-inches tall.
The calf was the first for her mother, Noel.
The park says Mika ventured outside the barn for the first time last Tuesday.
Customers will be able to see Mika at the safari on Saturday and Sunday.
