3 Children Injured in Crash Involving School Bus, Fuel Truck in South Jersey

A school bus crashed into a fuel truck on the Garden State Parkway in Cape May County near Dennis Township, New Jersey. There were children aboard, three of which were sent to the hospital.

Three children were among four injured in a crash that involved a school bus along the Garden State Parkway Tuesday morning.

The crash happened about 8:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the Parkway in Cape May County, New Jersey

According to investigators, the crash involved a school bus and a fuel truck.

The driver of the fuel truck became trapped and was rescued by emergency crews. He was transported to a nearby hospital in an unknown condition.

Three kids aboard the school bus were taken to Cape May Regional Medical Center as a precaution. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The cause remains under investigation.
