Former nursing home repurposed as new triage center for homelessness and addiction

City officials are planning to expand homelessness and addiction support services in Philadelphia. A nursing home that is no longer in service at 21st Street and Girard Avenue will be the new home of a triage center and shelter. People who enter the facility can do so voluntarily until they feel completely rehabilitated.
