Former ‘Hero' Cop Faces Sentencing for Attacking Girlfriend

Former Philadelphia police officer Richard DeCoatsworth will be sentenced Monday after he was found guilty of simple assault of his former live-in girlfriend back in November. DeCoatsworth was once hailed as a hero and received a Top Cop Award after being shot in the face at a traffic stop.
