Flyers aware of ‘serious matter' following Hart's exit

Philadelphia Flyers general manager Danny Briere told members of the press on Wednesday that the team was aware of a serious matter concerning the 2018 World Junior hockey team. Five members of that team have been asked to turn themselves in to police following a sexual assault investigation. Flyers’ goalie Carter Hart was a member of that team but Briere said he doesn’t know if Hart’s recent exit was connected to the police investigation.
