A flipped tractorttrailer disrupted traffic heading across the Ben Franklin Bridge from New Jersey into Philadelphia for several hours during the Friday morning rush hour.
The accident happened around 6:15 a.m., according to officials.
The overturned big rig blocked the two left lanes of the bridge heading into Philly for more than two hours.
Crews uprighted the tractor-trailer just before 8:45 a.m. and all westbound lanes reopened by 9:30 a.m., according to officials with the Delaware River Port Authority.
The DRPA warned warning drivers to expect major delays, urging commuters to take the Walt Whitman Bridge or Besty Ross Brige and consider taking PATCO trains into the city.
