Firing of Teacher Over Same-Sex Marriage Prompts School Meeting

A meeting will be held for parents of students who attend Waldron Mercy Academy in Montgomery County to address the firing of long-time teacher Margie Winters whose contract was not renewed after some parents raised concerns about Winters’ same-sex marriage.
