Fire Destroys Delaware County Home

Nobody was hurt in the Folsom, Pa. blaze, but officials are investigating how the blaze — that destroyed a family’s home — started.

A 2-alarm fire tore through a Delaware County home Friday morning, gutting the property.

Firefighters received a call around 9:45 a.m. about a blaze in a house on the 700 block of Agnes Avenue in Folsom, Pennsylvania, according to officials.

No one was hurt in the fire, but the home sustained heavy damage.

Authorities also called PECO and PGW crews to the scene.

An investigation is underway.
