Searching for Clues After 3-Year-Old Twin Dies in Crash at Bucks County House

Boy dies of head injury in crash outside Fairless Hills home

Police continue to investigate the death of a 3-year-old twin boy who was struck by a car outside of a Bucks County home. Officials are trying to confirm whether a crime was committed or if it was a terrible accident.

Investigators are looking into the death of a 3-year-old twin boy who died in a crash at a Bucks County home Monday night.

A family member rushed the boy to Jefferson Bucks Hospital after the crash shortly after 5 p.m. along Lincoln Highway near U.S. Route 13 in Fairless Hills, Falls Township Police Lt. Nelson Whitney said.

Doctors pronounced the unidentified boy dead. He died from a skull fracture, Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub told NBC10's Deanna Durante.

The twin boys were with a family member visiting the home and playing outside when the crash occurred, Weintraub said. The twin and family member weren't injured.

The family member is a landlord at the home.

As of Tuesday afternoon, it wasn't clear if the boy's death was a horrible accident or a crime, Weintraub said.

Falls Township police along with the district attorney’s office and crash reconstruction investigators continued to search for clues Tuesday, police said. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Falls Township Police Department at 215-949-9100, and ask for Cpl. Gerald Piasecki.
