Authorities say an elderly woman was robbed at gunpoint at the door of her south Philadelphia home.
Police say the 87-year-old victim was at home shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday when two people came to her door.
The victim's daughter said the two asked for directions, then pushed her inside. They held a gun to the elderly woman's neck and kicked her, the daughter told NBC10.
Police said jewelry was taken off the victim and the offenders then fled.
No arrests were immediately reported.
The elderly woman wasn't seriously injured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
"Very grateful that she wasn't hurt because it could've been worse," the victim's daughter said. "But sad because she's 87 years old and she's pretty traumatized. She thought she was gonna die."
