Early Morning Storms Knock Out Power

Thousands of people are without power as of 11:30 a.m.

PECO says 7,000 customers were out of power in Chester County on Friday because of an early morning storm. NBC10’s Doug Shimell spoke to those without power during the heat wave.

Early morning storms knocked out power to thousands in our area. While the storms are now over, many people are waiting for the power to come back on.

Here's a look at the outage numbers as of 11:30 a.m.

PECO reports 7,000 customers without power, a majority in Chester County.

Atlantic City Electric reports 4,512 customers without power, a majority in Gloucester County.

Delmarva Power reports 2,963 customers in Delaware, a majority in New Castle County.
