Dieter Gives Emotional Statement

Darren Dieter was paralyzed from the neck down in September, 2007 when Tyree Bonhannon shot him. Bonhannon apologized in court to Dieter and his family, saying he prayed every night that Dieter would get better. Dieter gave an emotional statement saying he only exists now because he has enough people around him to help out. Bonhannon pleaded guilty and will spend 15-30 years in prison. Dieter, 26, is the son of Philadelphia consumer advocate Lance Haver.
