Deadly SUV Bus Stop Crash

An out of control sport utility vehicle slams into a bus stop in Lehigh County

Elias Tabarani and Angel Bosch were killed on Monday while waiting at a Lanta bus stop in Hanover Township. Police say Caitlyn Clark, 26, was behind the wheel of the SUV that smashed into the bus stop. NBC10’s Christine Maddela reports.

An out of control SUV smashed into a Lehigh County bus stop Monday afternoon killing two people.

Pennsylvania State Police say 26-year-old Caitlyn Clark of Nazareth, lost control of her Nissan Pathfinder as she headed east on Race Street near Cascade Drive in Hanover Township.  Clark  hit a utility pole then ran into a group of four men waiting at a Lanta bus stop.

Two of the men were trapped under the SUV and one of them, 51-year-old Elias Tabarani, died at the scene, according to investigators.

NBC10 spoke to Tabarani's brother-in-law who says Tabarani was the father of four.

Angel Bosch, 28, died Monday evening at St. Luke's Hospital.

The injured are identified as Angel Guerrido-Lopez  and Lawrence Oyster, both of Allentown. They're being treated at St. Luke's.

Police say the investigation is on-going.
