Philly DA Larry Krasner Challenges the Death Penalty

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner filed a petition requesting that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court find the death penalty unconstitutional. His office reviewed dozens of cases between 1978 and 2017 and found that many of those cases were overturned.
