Driver Slams into Porch & Vacant Building in Bucks County

The accident happened late Tuesday night in Bristol, Pennsylvania. Two people, who were in the vehicle, were hurt.

A driver smashed into the front porch of a Bucks County home and then left the crash scene, only to hit an abandoned building across the street, authorities said.

Both the driver and the passenger were hurt in the crash that occurred near Market and Wood streets in Bristol around 11:30 p.m., according to officials.

Police said the driver lost control of the car before hitting the porch.

The two injured people were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital, authorities said. Both are expected to be okay.

The crash happened on the same block as a fire house, so crews were able to respond quickly to the scene.

An investigation is underway.
