Del. County Cop Accused of Tasering Teen Multiple Times

Sources tell the Philadelphia Daily News a Colwyn police officer used a stun gun on a teen who may have been handcuffed.

A Colwyn Police officer is under investigation for allegedly using a Taser on a juvenile while the teen was in a holding cell last week, borough officials and sources told the Philadelphia Daily News.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested for fighting on April 24, charged with disorderly conduct and placed in a holding cell, the officer allegedly Tasered the teen up to nine times, sources said, for reasons that are still unclear, reported the Daily News.

Officials declined to confirm to the Daily News the identity of the officer who is under investigation.

Colwyn Mayor Daniel Rutland told the Daily News,"I can tell you right now suspensions are going to be coming," he said. "More than one will be coming."
