Officials Close Contaminated Pool

On July 4th, Nockamixon State Park had to close its half-avtr swimming pool because a child with cryptosporidium was in the pool and had an accident. Cryptosporidium is a parasite that causes diarrhea and vomiting. Park officials immediately closed the pool and did whatever they had to do to clean it and remove the contamination.
