First Alert Weather: After Snow Clipper, Spring-Like Warmth Arrives This Week

Don’t be dismayed by Sunday’s chilly air and snow showers. NBC10’s First Alert weather team is tracking a major warm-up headed our way for the work week.. Meteorologist Michelle Grossman has the full forecast.

When Sunday morning's clipper system that dropped snow showers on parts of the area clears out by afternoon, the stage will be set for spring-like warm temperatures.

The storm system is expected to be gone by afternoon, leaving clearing skies and partial sun for the remainder of Sunday. On Monday, we'll start a warming trend, with highs about 60 and a mix of sun and clouds.

Tuesday is expected to be even warmer and even more spring-like.
